Read the Footnote Mysteries early — and review them honestly

The ARC team is a small circle of readers who receive the Footnote Mysteries early and, in return, leave an honest review once they have read each one. ARC stands for advance reader copy — a finished book, placed in your hands ahead of most readers, in exchange for a candid word. If you like archives, footnotes, and the slow building of unease, you may find you belong here. Learn more about how the ARC team works →

Every member begins with The Empress's Wake, the first of the Footnote Mysteries — where Martha Bancroft's troubles begin aboard a Mediterranean cruise. From there, each new novel in the series arrives as a complete advance copy, sent before its publication date.

In return, I ask one thing: an honest review on Amazon within fourteen days of finishing each book. Honest is the operative word. A review is only worth something if it is true, and a thoughtful two stars is of far more use — to me, and to the next reader deciding whether to begin — than a dutiful five.
